Perris Monte Carlo Patchouli Nosy Be and Ylang Ylang Nosy Be
Nosy Be or Nossi-bé is an island off the northwest coast of Madagascar. It belongs to the province of Antsiranana and has 60,000 inhabitants. In the Malagasy language "Nosy Be" means "Big Island" (and it is indeed the largest island of the archipelago), but it is mainly known under the nickname "Nosy Manitra" (scented island).
This is due to the intense scents that you breathe everywhere on the island which is known for its rich vegetation and spices. Above all, ylang-ylang, vanilla, coffee, cocoa, pepper, geranium, cinnamon, frangipani and the typical plants of northern Madagascar. The island with its volcanic origin and the tropical climate, which dominate the seasons, makes Nosy Be an Island with exceptional flora and fauna. Its reputation as an island paradise is well-earned.
The island has eleven volcanic lakes, which are a major source of water for the crops and an excellent habitat for animals. The landscape is very diverse and dominated by large hills and low mountains, such as the nature reserve Lokobe (450 m) and Mount Passot (350 m), from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the whole island. The rugged coastline offers many gulfs and hidden coves.
