Essential oil of red or blood oranges 
has never been particularly prized in perfumery. But here our history crossed paths with Capua, the symbol of Italian excellence in citrus fruit extraction since 1880, and everything changed. The Capua family, who are just as passionate about perfume as we are, has created a two-stage extraction method. It is one of those secret masterpieces that appear here and there, particularly in southern Italy, and its story is worth telling. First, the essential oil is extracted from the peel, brown and concentrated; next, when completely ripe, the whole fruits are pressed, passed through a sfumatorchioextractor and centrifuged to separate the essential oil from the juice.

Opening with hints of mandarin and bergamot, Brume du Matin is like the introduction of a new day, witnessed by the shores of the Mediterranean. Juicy and invigorating, the early fruit accords are augmented in the fragrance’s heart by peach and plum, as rose, violet and jasmine join the party in a sumptuous medley of ripening fruit and delicate flowers.

The top notes reveal a fresh accord of citrus notes with compliments of spices with bergamot, davana and ginger. The heart notes consists of papyrus plant and the incense intertwined to reveal a mysterious spicy facet of the fragrance. The base notes with amber and woody undertones adds elegance to the fragrance character.
