Essence de patchouli 🌿🌹
Patchouli is one of the most important ingredients to a perfumer. Grown across Asia, this unique essential oil is obtained by a process of distilling the Patchouli leaves, the result is enigmatic of dark chocolate. This dark chocolate facet is what popularized the patchouli as an ingredient, as the fragrance matures it becomes woody, leafy and green. Essence de Patchouli opens with warm and delicate notes of rose and geranium above a crisp and refreshing heart of Iris. The rich base notes of cedar wood, guaiac wood and labdanum absolute, rounds off this sophisticated oriental blend rendering it warm and dry with a touch of softness.
