Native to Central America, the Vanilla plant belongs to the orchid family. It was a popular aphrodisiac in Mexico. In Peru and Ecuador, women would spread it under their arms as a balm. Vanilla Tahitensis is the most precious of the many varieties of Vanilla 
When we decided to create a unique, contemporary Vanilla fragrance, it was our only choice. It is also unique in botanical terms. The fruit ripens on the plant without any intervention from humans, spontaneously developing its warm, sweet, exotic notes.
We also used an innovative, modern process known as supercritical CO2, guaranteeing the utmost purity and preserving all its aromatic nuances. Vanille de Tahiti is an ode to exoticism, to the inquietude that makes us dream of heavenly places where happiness reigns. Powerful and heady, with creamy, subtly sweet notes, it is enriched with floral touches of Ylang Ylang and Champaca, hints of Amber and Musk and a Sandalwood base.

This intriguing scent is part of the Coffee Break collection; a unique tribute to the ancient coffee trade 
Golden Green centres on the purity of un-roasted raw green coffee beans, for a truly energising aroma. Opening to pink pepper, cardamom and juniper berries, it leads to an enchanting heart of incense, cedar wood and strong vetiver. The warming base of coffee and musk delicately rounds off the composition.

“Our journey to the origin of Mediterranean perfumes takes us back to where everything began. To Magna Graecia and its art, philosophy, techniques…. And perfumes. Diamante, a small town with a great past. The Citrus Medica or Diamante Citron grows only here, the result of a mutation. One of the many miracles that have occurred in this stretch of the Calabrian coast caressed by Tyrrhenian breezes.” 
It is the Perfect Tree, whose fruit - rich in flavour as well as perfume - symbolises the excellence of the chosen people in Jewish tradition. Rabbis come to this short stretch of the Calabrian coast to choose the finest citrons, an essential part of celebrations for Sukkot, the main Jewish holiday.
So the Diamante Citron was a must for our celebration of Mediterranean Italy, a crossroads for many different traditions. We handled it with care, as befitting a fruit that is much more than a simple ingredient. At its core lie memories, faces, merchant ships, interwoven languages. A myriad of stories which the sweet notes of the Citron retell with a modern touch: the spicy heart and soft, musky base.
